The Boston Bruins escaped with a Game 1 win over Columbus in their second-round playoff series thanks to Charlie Coyle’s game-tying goal late in regulation and game-winner in overtime. On the diamond, the Atlanta Braves (12-13) will welcome ace Mike Foltynewicz back to the mound for his season debut. Foltynewicz has been on the injured list since spring training with a bone spur. The Braves could use a strong outing from him after their pitchers gave up 12 hits and 8 runs in an 8-4 loss to the Colorado Rockies (12-14) in last night’s series-opener.
