Independence Day serves up its usual fare of baseball all day starting with the first pitch between the Marlins and Nationals at 11:05 a.m. Another NL East battle will take place later in the evening as the Atlanta Braves (51-36) wrap up their series against the Philadelphia Phillies (45-41) at SunTrust Park. The teams have split the first two games of the set with the Phils taking the opener, 2-0, and the Braves bouncing back last night, 9-2.
