The Philadelphia Phillies signed Bryce Harper to a mega-contract with the intent on being in the postseason hunt for many years to come. So far, those results have been mixed. On Friday night, Harper delivered in a big way with two HRs in a 9-6 win over the San Francisco Giants. But yesterday, Harper struck out in the ninth inning while representing the tying run in a 3-1 loss to the Giants. Overall, the Phils (60-57) are still in the thick of the NL wild-card chase as they trail Washington and Milwaukee by just 1 1/2 games entering tonight’s series finale against San Francisco (58-60) at Oracle Park. Jake Arrieta (8-8, 4.41) will get the start for Philly, while Conner Menez (0-1, 5.73) takes the mound for the Giants. To get Dunkel’s pick for this game and the full MLB schedule, click HERE.
