The Denver Nuggets (42-20) are fighting for the second spot in the NBA’s Western Conference playoff standings, but have let their guard down recently against some lower-rated teams. The Nuggets fell at home to last-place Golden State on Tuesday and then needed to overcome an eight-point fourth-quarter deficit to nip the Charlotte Hornets, 114-112, on Thursday. Michael Malone’s group will see if it can avoid another nail-biter tonight as the Nuggets visit the Cleveland Cavaliers (17-45), who have lost four straight following their 112-106 defeat against Boston on Wednesday. Tip off is 7:30 p.m. EST at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse. To get Dunkel’s pick for this game and the full NBA schedule, click HERE.

Another team fighting for postseason positioning is the Florida State Seminoles (25-5). Leonard Hamilton’s squad has a chance to earn at least a tie for their first ACC regular-season title in school history as the Seminoles host the Boston College Eagles (13-17). BC has struggled with injuries and comes in having dropped four straight and five of its last six. Tip off is 4:30 p.m. EST at Donald L. Tucker Center. The NY Rangers (36-27-4) are also knocking on the postseason door and coming off a huge five-goal game from center Mika Zibanejad in their 6-5 win in OT over the Washington Capitals on Thursday. But they can ill-afford to look past the New Jersey Devils (27-28-12), who 5-1-2 in their last eight games following their 4-2 upset win over the St. Louis Blues last night. Face off is 7:00 p.m. EST at Madison Square Garden. To get Dunkel’s pick for this game and the full NHL schedule, click HERE.

And a full weekend of English Premier League action gets started this morning as Liverpool (26-1-1) looks to rebound from its loss to Watford last week as it hosts Bournemouth (7-6-15). Kick off is 7:30 a.m. EST at Anfield. To get Dunkel’s pick for this match and the full EPL schedule, click HERE.
