The Chicago White Sox (31-16) took the opener of their big AL Central series against the Minnesota Twins (30-19) last night as Adam Engel delivered a tie-breaking pinch-hit single in the eighth inning en route to a 3-1 victory that moved the White Sox two games ahead of the Twins in the standings.
