Week 25: Celtics Enter Playoffs No. 1
The addition of Ray Allen and Kevin Garnett couldn't have worked much better as
the Celtics finished with the best record in the NBA and the top Index ranking
heading into the postseason. The Lakers, the No. 1 seed in the West,
finished with the second-best ranking, setting up a possible championship

put the Nuggets on the cusp of making the playoffs. All the No. 13 Nuggets

Week 10: Paul, Hornets Eclipse The Suns
New Orleans sent a strong message that it was ready to challenge in the West
with a 118-113 win at Phoenix on Saturday night behind Chris Paul's 28 points
and 10 assists. The win was the Hornets' 23rd of the season -- tying them
with Phoenix for the most in the conference --and snapped the Suns' streak of 20
