Final 2008-09: 15 Is Lakers' Magic Number
While the Magic were able to upset LeBron and the Cavaliers in the Eastern
Conference championship, they proved no match for Kobe Bryant and the Lakers.
Los Angeles put the finishing touches in a five-game series with a 99-86 win in
the final to capture its 15th title and Phil Jackson's 10th as a coach.
Bryant was the series MVP after averaging 32.4 points in his fourth
championship, but first without Shaquille O'Neal. Here are the final
Dunkel NBA ratings* for the 2008-09
season.
