The New York Islanders were seemingly on cruise control into the postseason back in early March when they sat atop the Metropolitan Division and were just two points behind Montreal for the top seed in the East. But a 1-6-1 stretch during which the offense has managed only 11 non-shootout goals has coach Jack Capuano scratching his head.
